I've been here a few times after rafting trips down the Gap. It's a small locals bar and we get some nasty glares when coming in with a big group of out-of-towers. But the staff treats us like regulars and couldn't be nicer. The food is great, especially the wings. They are arguably the best I've ever had and I look forward to them every year. The burger is good as well, and I've never heard anyone complain about anything else. My only gripe is that I always forget to ask for fries instead of chips on the side. I just wish there was a place like this around me.

This is by far my favorite dining spot of the area! On vacation, we had the opportunity to visit a variety of places for lunch or dinner. Hands down Minisink was our favorite. The menu is not fussy with straight-forward pub eats of great quality. We ordered from the impressive array on the menu (posted on the walls by the way) and were never disappointed. The atmosphere and staff were warm and friendly, and there is a charming bridge straddling a small river that fascinated the kids. Prices were fantastic! Ridiculously affordable for the quality and quantity of food provided. Overall, if you are staying near the Shawnee area, this is THE place to go!

This is THE BEST place. My friends and I come here a few times a month and it's always a blast. Cheap wings, cheap beer, and the most friendly, beautiful bartenders around. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this little dive. It's such a hidden gem that I am almost reluctant to review it because I don't want it becoming over run with visitors. S and I stumbled upon the Minisink Inn after the staff at another local bar directed us there while we were searching for food at 10 pm on a Tuesday. When we walked in, most people there seemed to be fellow industry people which is always a great sign. The place is small but cozy and the wood burning stove in the middle of the room is amazing. The place is decorated with relics and old pictures and the menus are hanging on the wall. It just seems "authentic dive" to me. As instructed by the bar staff of Pub 570, on our first visit, we both ordered the Shrimp Scampi. It was really delicious and tasted so surprisingly fresh we were taken aback. We also witnessed nachos come out of the kitchen and they looking like a heaping pile of deliciousness. On our second visit on a Thursday night, it was a bit more crowded, but still seemed to be a mostly local crowd. We were also informed it was Taco night; $1.30 tacos. I opted for three tacos, they were okay. But for $1 I wasn't expecting el Vez caliber food. S got the chicken parm sandwich and enjoyed it. Only deducting 1 star because bottled beer seems to be the way to go here, which is fine. Our wine the first time tasted so old (our fault for ordering wine), but S' magic hat draft tasted strange on our second trip. Their bottled selection is pretty good as well! I like this place because I didn't feel out of place and the service is always super friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to take the bike here this summer!

Came for a hiking to the Delaware water Gap. Look for a restaurant and we end up here. Friendly service, did a take out. Chicken wings were amazing different a bit sweet and spicy!!! Is not a five star restaurants but deserve a 5 stars! The location is pretty.

We came here by recommendation for their wings. This is definitely a local bar. If that's your thing it's perfect. We liked it for our first time and will be going again but we weren't impressed to rave about it. Decent wings and burger. We didn't try anything else. Not the best I've had at a more local type joint but not horrible. The atmosphere is cool where the menus are on the walls and a pool table and the locals fill the juke box. Not enough TVs for sports but this place isn't going for a sports bar theme. The way that I leave it is this place was fine but forgettable.

Good food,,,good atmosphere,,,,friendly. The nacho supreme is really good and the hot wings are the best I ever had. Sometimes my long time friend joe is there which makes it even better.

Long story, but one of our group twisted an ankle. She wanted to eat before going to urgent care & the Minisink Hotel was recommended by folks at Deer Head Inn. Our server was great. She immediately brought ice & duct tape and brought drinks before telling us about the menu. We had good chicken sandwiches & crab cakes. The onion rings were great! Good food & great service, so 2 thumbs up from all of us.

Why don't more places like this exist? I mean nearly everything I've had on the menu is just great. Me and a group of friends go every other month in the afternoon, we get sandwiches, beer, occasionally a bloody Mary if the night before was rough, and enjoy the atmosphere and play darts. I am happy every single time, full and satisfied, and waiting until I can go back. I've never been at night as getting a ride home is not easy (difficult to find the place).

Love it here! Nothing bad to say at all. The French onion soup is very good. Their menu is displayed on the walls. Juke box is perfect because we get to decide what to listen to.

This place is great. Don't let the exterior run you off. This place is homey feeling and the bartender/waitress was great. My dad had Mac n cheese and a sloppy joe which was on special for $2. I had nachos and I was warned but I wanted nachos. They are huge and I barely made a dent in them. They don't skimp on topping I had a quart of sour cream on mine. They are topped with house made chili!

Used to be a good place. Now it's just an overpriced diner with alcohol. The owner is a total idiot. He took a great local bar and ruined everything it once was. He has no values or loyalty to anyone.

Two words, Katie and Karen. Service is second to none, and the food and drinks are great. Whatever you're looking for, the "stink" has got it! As I said, Katie and Karen are the nuts, but short story, was in there for the first time about 15 years ago. Packed. Lovely lady by the name of Bernadine (sp) was bartending, serving tables, and no doubt dishwashing too. Must have been 50 people in there eating and drinking. Never waited, and I eat and drink a lot. Obviously, the service has been passed along, as Katie and Karen weren't old enough to go in there 15 years ago :o)

Great food, price and atmosphere. Its nothing fancy but a nice place to stop in from time to time. Good specials except for the steamers. Was the only food I have been unhappy with from there. Most of all just a good place to go in for a drink.

The perfect little dive bar. The beer is cold, food is delicious and the bartenders are very friendly and always on top of it. I always recommend this place to people who are passing through.

We've driven from NJ from time to time to stop at a couple stores and eat here. Not fancy, not big. Good juke box, one pool table, and menu is on the walls (for real-lol). Can look intimidating from the outside, but go in! I've gone with my parents and son. They have specials, and the food is good. The service can be slow-there's one girl who works the bar, and the tables. Don't come in a hurry to get somewhere. One of my son's favorites (he's 11), is the kalbasa and perogies. In PA, how can you go wrong with that dish?!

Somehow I've ended up here after two different long, outdoorsy type trips. Once, after a motorcycle trip to Montreal and back, during the colder-than-expected Autumn months, and once after a three day long primitive camping and canoe trip. Both times I was happy for a chair and some serious bar food. The menu here is surprisingly long, albeit filled with mostly fried foods. The salad is literally some iceberg lettuce, a few slices of tomato and some dressing, but good enough when I'm seriously craving vegetables and want to line my tummy with roughage before adding mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers and various other fried delights. The place is quite large, and usually quite busy. Menus are listed on chalkboards around the bar area, with many specials. You order your food from the bar and pay and they bring it to you. It's nothing fancy, but after a long trip it's a good place to hit up before heading home.
